Liquid Rhythm consists of the dynamic acoustic duo of Bobby Pastorius (rhythm guitar) and Miguel Miranda (lead vocals and lead guitar).  They perform in the greater Tampa Bay area and their gigs consist mainly of upbeat covers from a diverse variety of genres as well as a few original pieces.  They bring a high level of energy and passion to  their shows with inspired performances that are unparalleled in the local marketplace.   

 

The duo met in 1997 while attending the University of Florida (Go Gators!) and immediately bonded through a mutual love of music and performing.  They played gigs throughout Gainesville including Fat Tuesdays, Cigar Bar, The Grog House and The Swamp. 

 

After graduating in 1999, they focused on becoming one of the premier acoustic acts in the Tampa Bay area.  Under the guidance of their agent Jane McKee, they have played numerous venues including The Hurricane, MacDinton’s Irish Pub, Banana Joe’s / Margarita Mama’s, Green Iguana, The Dubliner Irish Pub, Adobe Gilas, Harry’s Beach Bar, The Outpost, Amalie Arena (pre-game outside stage), Blue Martini, Rattlefish / Hula Bay and Irish 31,  

 

Bobby is the founding Partner of Tru-Bridge, Inc. (www.tru-bridge.com), an executive search firm specializing in the placement of accounting and finance professionals in the Tampa Bay area.  Miguel is the proud owner of a HobbyTown USA franchise (www.hobbytown.com) in Gainesville, FL.
